Me Josée Carpentier has lived in the Brome-Missisquoi region for more than 20 years, where she was actively involved for over 15 years with various organizations focused on youth and entrepreneurship.

Coming from an entrepreneurial background, she has a practical understanding of the realities and challenges business leaders face. She draws on this experience to guide her clients strategically, with legal and tax advice that is tailored, pragmatic and focused on the growth and long-term success of their businesses.

Admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2010, Me Carpentier began her career in taxation at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton. She then practised in a private firm from 2010 to 2012, mainly in litigation and business law. Eager to deepen her expertise, she earned a graduate diploma in taxation (D.Fisc.) from the Université de Sherbrooke in 2013.

In 2014, she founded Juricompas inc., a firm dedicated to supporting businesses in the region. For more than ten years, she built a practice centred on legal and tax advisory services, with an accessible, rigorous and solution-focused approach. Fully bilingual, she is also well regarded by English-speaking clients in her areas of practice.

In 2025, she joined Groupe Piette Avocats, bringing her clients and expertise with her. This move reflects an ongoing commitment to growth and a desire to offer the firm’s clients even more complete support, backed by the strength of a multidisciplinary team.

Me Carpentier focuses her practice on business law and taxation, particularly incorporation, corporate reorganization and business transfers, as well as the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements. She also practises civil law, mainly in cases with a commercial or estate dimension, and in matters involving latent defects and construction defects.

Known for her human, proactive and solution-oriented approach, Me Carpentier favours negotiated settlements whenever circumstances allow, while ensuring rigorous representation of her clients’ interests.
